Our club provides the opportunity to be actively involved in netball within the local community. We welcome participants who want to play, umpire or coach, with all levels of experience and ability.
Our club values friendship, community spirit, teamwork and respect to all members – from our volunteers to our umpires and parents.
Our Volunteers and Life Members are active and engaged members in our organisation, and we are grateful and thankful for their outstanding contributions to the development of netball with us. Without their support we wouldn’t be able to do what we do!
Our Club
Our History
Glenmore Park Netball Club was established in 1998. Throughout the years there has been a significant growth in player, coach and umpire development, starting out with six teams, to a high of 31 in 2016.
Founding committee member Barbara Dallinger has been an ongoing committee member for 25 years, now holding the role of Club Registrar and Life Membership of Glenmore Park and Penrith Service Award recipient. Barbara is one of the many amazing volunteers of the club over the years, providing an essential service to our local community.
Throughout the 25 years our club has seen three different uniforms, representing the sporting fashion trends of the times. From a top and skirt, to the bodysuit and now A-line dress, our distinct purple and jade colours are vibrantly unique to the Penrith District Netball Association (PDNA).
A highlight for the club was being awarded by PDNA the prestigious Cathy Ormerod Club of the Year award in 2016. This award was recognition for significant effort the committee has put into player, coach and umpire development over the years, and the ongoing support and partnership our club shows PDNA and affiliated clubs.
